Slovak National Collection of Wine

Visitors can be acquainted with the history and tradition of the Slovak viticulture. The domination feature of the National Salon is the collection of 100 best wines of Slovakia.

Visitors are welcome to taste wine, to hear the commentary about Slovak wine sorts and, of course, there is a possibility of buying wine. All sorts presented in the salon must be succeed at the nominating exhibitions, as well as must fulfill the requirements of the competition of the Nation Salon.

The final selection is taken by the specialized committee, which hold the qualification of the EU, as ISO and DIN. The wines prized with the attribute of the National Salon are then exhibited in the casting parts of the Salon, where visitors can taste wine, buy some souvenirs, literature about wine and also sommelier's equipment.

The project was financed from the EU foundations, from program Interreg IIIA, Austria-Slovakia and is operand by the Union of Slovak winegrowers and winemakers.

Free degustation program:

90-minute degustation of any of the exhibited sorts of wine. Price per person: €16.99

Degustation program 5+5:

Degustation of 5 white and 5 red sorts of wine with the commentary of a wine taster. Recommended for groups of 6 and more persons. Price per person: €9.99

Degustation program 3+3:

Degustation of 3 white and 3 red sorts of wine with the commentary of a wine taster. Recommended for groups of 6 and more persons. Price per person: €6.99

Making a reservation in advance for the degustation program 5+5 and 3+3 is required.

Historical excursions of the cellar: €0.50
