Some 20 houses have survived until today that deserve conservation, care and attention. The houses are remarkable for their beautiful masoned or wooden column porches and the unusually rich ornamental decoration of the facades and the gables. Most of them are permanently inhabited.

To declare the site a folk architecture reserve could be considered should the conditions be favourable, while the creation of a recreational village appears to be a most suitable current way of use for these buildings.
